Transport Liaison Officer - Transport Assistance

About the Role

The Transport Liaison Officer oversees daily operations including planning and scheduling Bus Attendants who support students with disabilities across the Department for Education, Children and Young People (DECYP) schools. This role ensures these students have safe, dependable, and fair access to educational transport services. Collaboration with key parties such as families, schools, transport providers, other DECYP departments, and the Department of State Growth is essential to understand transport requirements and efficiently address any issues.

The recruitment process for this position may be utilized for any future full-time or part-time vacancies over the next 12 months as per Employment Direction 1.
