Job Introduction
We are seeking a Trainee Sales Executive, also known as a Brand Specialist, to join our Volvo dealership located in Leamington Spa. This entry-level role provides a fantastic opportunity to start a career in automotive sales with comprehensive training and ongoing support to build your knowledge and confidence for advancement into a full Sales Executive position.
Work Schedule
The role involves working Monday through Saturday with one weekday off and participating in a Sunday rota. Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays, and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sundays.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintaining a friendly and customer-centric sales environment.
- Assisting customers via phone, email, LiveChat, and face-to-face inquiries.
- Building strong connections with customers, understanding their requirements, and confidently showcasing the Volvo vehicle range.
- Conducting engaging vehicle presentations and technology demonstrations.
- Organizing photography for used vehicles for online advertising and aiding with vehicle preparation for customers.
- Supporting Sales Executives by following up on inquiries, prospecting, and seeking new sales opportunities.
- Learning to present financing and additional product options tailored to customer needs and company guidelines.
- Ensuring accurate logging of all customer and vehicle information per FCA and data protection regulations.
- Promoting the value of both new and used vehicles aligning with company and Volvo trade policies.
- Providing an outstanding customer experience throughout every stage of the purchasing process.
- Continuously developing skills to progress into a Sales Executive role.
Candidate Profile
- No prior motor trade or sales experience required; strong customer service skills and enjoyment in working with people are essential.
- Ideal for candidates from retail, hospitality, leisure, or customer service sectors aiming for a sales career.
- Motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to quickly connect and build relationships with customers.
- Positive mindset with ambition to enhance skills and meet personal and team objectives.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Potential to develop a successful career in the automotive industry.
- Possession of a valid UK driving license is mandatory.
- Previous automotive experience is advantageous but not necessary due to full training and continuous development provided.
