Role Description
This position is a full-time onsite role based in Doha, Qatar, where the Time Keeper is tasked with accurate daily tracking and maintenance of attendance records, timesheets, and working hours for on-site staff and laborers. Responsibilities include validating overtime, leaves, and absences; liaising with site supervisors and human resources to address discrepancies; and compiling periodic timekeeping reports to facilitate payroll operations. The role demands ensuring compliance with organizational policies and labor laws, maintaining systematic documentation, and handling employee queries regarding time records. The Time Keeper will work closely with project teams to optimize workforce management at construction sites.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in precise timekeeping and attendance record management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with site personnel, supervisors, and HR departments.
- Customer-focused approach to resolving employee timekeeping inquiries.
- Proficiency with digital timekeeping tools, spreadsheets, and basic office software.
- Prior experience in construction or extensive contracting settings is advantageous.
- Capability to operate efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced on-site environment, managing various tasks within deadlines.
- Familiarity with labor regulations and payroll processes is preferred.
- Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or its equivalent; additional credentials in administration or human resources are favorable.
