Test Manager - Corporate Banking

Overview

Adept Global seeks an experienced Test Manager specializing in Corporate Banking Quality Engineering based in Dubai. This role leads comprehensive testing across multiple banking projects, focusing heavily on Corporate Internet Banking and Corporate Payments.

Responsibilities and Expertise

• Lead end-to-end testing initiatives across Corporate Banking projects.
• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and governance for quality assurance.
• Estimate test efforts, manage risks and dependencies effectively.
• Oversee test execution, ensuring quality compliance and accurate metrics reporting.
• Communicate test progress and risks to stakeholders efficiently.
• Drive adoption of test automation strategies and contribute to automation project delivery with demonstrable return on investment.
• Utilize Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA for test and defect management.
• Manage and mentor testing teams to achieve high performance and quality standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 12 years in Quality Assurance/Engineering, including minimum 3 years as a Test Manager.
• 4 to 5 years managing several Corporate Banking testing projects with hands-on corporate internet banking and payments exposure.
• Strong knowledge in Corporate Internet Banking, Corporate Payments, Host-to-Host Integrations, API Banking, Cash Management, and preferably Trade Finance.
• Proficient in test effort estimation, strategy, execution governance, defect management, and quality governance.
• Experienced in defining and implementing automation strategies and leading automation initiatives within the past 2 years.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Agile and tools such as JIRA.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in GCC banking industry environments.
• Exposure to Trade Finance and other Corporate Banking products.
• Willingness to undertake international travel as required.
