About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Team Leader to head our hunting and kiosk sales team in the telecom industry. This role entails spearheading new client acquisition efforts, driving revenue growth, and expanding our market presence through effective management of sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a dedicated team focused on securing new telecom business clients through proactive hunting strategies.
- Create and execute sales plans to meet revenue goals and boost customer acquisition.
- Identify and pursue new business prospects, manage lead generation, and oversee successful deal closures.
- Maintain strong relationships with important decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations.
- Set clear performance targets and provide continuous guidance, training, and motivation to team members.
- Track and analyze team performance via KPIs, implementing improvements to enhance results.
- Conduct regular meetings to assess the sales pipeline, address challenges, and refine strategies.
- Cultivate a culture of high achievement and continuous development within the team.
- Ensure accurate use of CRM systems for managing leads and forecasting sales.
- Analyze sales data to offer actionable insights, collaborating with marketing, product, and finance departments to align strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs.
- Provide strategic feedback on market conditions, pricing, and service enhancements.
- Identify new partnership opportunities and additional revenue channels.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in B2B sales or business development within the telecom sector.
- Proven success in hunting roles with a track record of acquiring new clients and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership capabilities with prior experience managing and developing sales teams.
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales automation platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Desired Skills and Attributes
- Experience selling telecom solutions, enterprise connectivity, or ICT services is advantageous.
- Well-connected within the telecom, IT, and enterprise industries.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, target-centric sales environments.
