Job description
About the Role
We are offering an exciting full-time opportunity for a Support Pharmacist to join our team at Hickey's Pharmacy located in Ballyphehane, Cork. This permanent position involves working 40 hours per week during the store's opening hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Sundays off.
The current team includes a Store Manager, a Supervising Pharmacist, one Support Pharmacist, three Technicians, and two Healthcare Advisors. The store handles a manageable range of items and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the dispensary effectively.
- Oversee stock control, including purchasing, ordering, merchandising, date checking, and stocktaking.
- Ensure strict compliance with controlled drugs regulations within the store.
- Maintain high standards of pharmacy presentation and store appearance.
Requirements
- Possess a degree in Pharmacy and must be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
- Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Work independently with initiative and drive the dispensary and store business forward.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with diverse personalities.
- Consistently promote outstanding customer service throughout the store.
