Overview
Join an innovative team at Apple's European headquarters in Cork, Ireland as a Supply Demand Planner within the EMEIA Supply Demand Management (SDM) group. This role is pivotal in managing comprehensive product planning for the EMEIA market to guarantee that Apple products are available at the right locations and times to satisfy customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively across multiple functions such as Logistics, Reseller Operations, Manufacturing, and Finance to maintain balanced supply and optimize efficiency throughout the EMEIA region.
- Devise and implement inventory replenishment strategies to sustain ideal stock levels and minimize product obsolescence.
- Manage production scheduling activities to synchronize factory output with evolving market demand, ensuring ample distribution channel supply.
- Utilize advanced statistical methods to examine demand trends and forecast accurately, incorporating current market insights.
- Oversee and coordinate product movement among factories and regional hubs to maintain optimal product availability.
- Monitor, report, and analyze key performance indicators to continually improve supply chain effectiveness.
- Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including Sales, Finance, Global Teams, and Logistics for aligned collaboration.
- Effectively communicate with all partners and identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance supply chain processes and systems.
Essential Qualifications
- Extensive experience in supply chain management or analytical roles within FMCG or similar industries.
- Strong skills in data analysis and problem-solving, leveraging tools and data to make informed decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication abilities, adept at cultivating productive relationships internally and externally.
- Highly motivated and accountable with a strong drive to achieve results independently.
- Capability to present complex analytical insights clearly to executive leadership and translate data into actionable strategies.
