About the Company

Wonder is a food platform designed to bring together a wide range of meals in one convenient order. Customers can combine dishes from many exclusive restaurant concepts, enjoy no delivery fees, or choose to dine in or pick up from a nearby location. Every meal is prepared fresh at the site by an in-house culinary team.

Wonder manages the full dining journey internally, including recipe creation and the technology that supports the experience. This end-to-end control helps the company deliver consistency, quality, and variety at scale as it works to make excellent food more widely available.

About the Role

Wonder’s Operations organization is hiring an experienced Supply Chain Planner to lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives that support business expansion. The role blends analytics, program management, operations, and technical thinking to shape and run the complete supply chain network.

You will contribute to the design of new supply chain technology systems, help define medium- and long-range network strategy, and manage day-to-day operational needs that support a strong customer experience.

What You Will Do

  • Create visibility into the condition and performance of the supply chain network and inventory levels, and set up ongoing monitoring.
  • Address complex supply chain challenges with support from teams across the business, aiming for simple and customer-focused outcomes.
  • Work in constrained environments, identify risks early, and route critical issues through the right escalation paths.
  • Oversee daily ordering, delivery, and receipt of products for Wonder restaurants.
  • Partner directly with Restaurant General Managers, suppliers, and product/engineering teams to resolve inventory issues efficiently.
  • Track transportation problems that arise in normal operations and help drive them to closure.
  • Improve key performance areas such as service levels, in-stock performance, waste reduction, and supplier performance.
  • Use data to develop new ideas, define metrics, solve problems, and implement solutions with broad impact.
  • Build strong working relationships with vendors to support a high-quality customer experience.
  • Contribute to the design and development of supply chain systems and technology platforms in partnership with Operations Product.
  • Strengthen alignment, standard processes, and productivity through relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in supply chain operations, especially in DTC/eCommerce or fresh food environments. This position requires someone who is comfortable in both data-heavy and operationally demanding settings.

Success depends on the ability to handle large datasets, perform analysis, and stay hands-on when urgent issues arise in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in supply chain operations, procurement, demand planning, and/or vendor management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • At least 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
  • At least 2 years of experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Strong command of advanced SQL and advanced Excel.
  • Working knowledge of R or Python is optional and considered an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in a quantitatively rigorous field, though it is not mandatory.
  • High mathematical aptitude is important for success in the interview process.

Additional Qualities

  • A positive, solutions-oriented mindset with customer and team excellence in focus.
  • Strong judgment supported by data and insights.
  • Comfort with open communication, change, and feedback.

Work Arrangements and Policy

This role follows the needs of internal field-facing clients, so working hours may include weekend and holiday coverage when business demand requires it.

Wonder does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The New Jersey salary listed for this role is $128,000 per year. The final offer may vary based on location and on the candidate’s skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.

Benefits include equity, a 401(k), and multiple medical, dental, and vision plan options, along with additional perks that are not fully listed.

Equal Opportunity and Hiring Process

Wonder hires with a focus on potential and values diversity, equity, and inclusion. Employment decisions are made without discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, military service eligibility, veteran status, marital status, disability, or any other protected class.

The company participates in the federal E-Verify program to confirm work eligibility. If accommodation is needed during interviews, the recruiter can be informed.

Interview scheduling and candidacy updates will be sent by email or text.
