Student Engagement Advisor

Position Overview

The Department of Education and Training is seeking an experienced Student Engagement Advisor to join the Student Attendance and Engagement team based in Palmerston. This role focuses on coordinating support services for parents and school-aged children who have been recognized as disengaged from their education journey. The primary goal is to facilitate re-engagement of these students in education, training, or other approved pathways.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage interventions aimed at re-engaging students who have disengaged from schooling.
• Work collaboratively with families and educational institutions to provide tailored support options.
• Serve as a liaison between students, parents, and educational providers to optimize re-enrolment opportunities.
