Position Overview

The role of Student Assistant for the Global Nutrition Team is based in Bonn, Germany, and offers a six-month contract with potential extension. Candidates will work 20 hours per week, balancing work with ongoing education. Partial remote work within Germany is permitted by arrangement, though full remote is not possible. The position is compensated at 15 Euros per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining, analyzing, and evaluating data sets related to nutrition and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).
• Developing and enhancing dashboards, visual data presentations, and reports to aid technical decision-making.
• Independently preparing and delivering presentations, reports, and publication materials based on analysis.
• Assisting in the continuous improvement of data management and monitoring workflows.
• Supporting the conceptualization, organization, and execution of meetings, workshops, and events.
• Updating internal topic pages and contributing to the creation of articles and presentation materials.

Candidate Profile

• Currently enrolled in a university or college program, preferably in data science, statistics, computer science, nutrition and food sciences, WASH, or a related field.
• Strong interest in data analysis, visualization, and communicating complex information clearly.
• Experience, ideally, with datasets and tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent applications.
• Passion for nutrition, WASH, or international development cooperation.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse, international, and intercultural environments.
• Organized, self-directed working style with excellent IT and English language skills.
