Strategy & Operations - Product Growth Specialist

About the Role

This position demands high ownership and impact, blending product, growth, and operations within a compact, founder-led team. The mission is to develop an AI-driven Supplier Relationship Management platform tailored for medium industrial enterprises. The successful candidate will devise and implement product-driven acquisition tactics that generate sustainable, compounding growth in industrial procurement.

The role involves rapid iteration from concept to prototype and scaling, fully owning growth mechanisms, and contributing strategically. Approximately 20% of the effort is spent aligned with founders on strategy; the remaining 80% requires autonomous execution. This role expects decisive action and a strong sense of ownership, avoiding committee delays.

The employer is a well-funded Series A/B stage B2B SaaS startup based in Munich, backed by leading European and global investors, serving more than 100 enterprise clients throughout the DACH region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement the next compounding growth loops such as supplier referral programs, community-driven effects, and integrated workflows from start to finish.
• Lead organic acquisition efforts utilizing technical SEO strategies and AI-based search infrastructure to transform procurement queries into sales opportunities.
• Develop and deliver product-led strategies that boost user acquisition independently of direct sales efforts.
• Conduct fast-paced innovation cycles — ideate on whiteboard, build prototypes, test validation, and scale successful initiatives, while remaining flexible to pivot as necessary.
• Manage growth plans end-to-end with complete accountability for measurable results.
• Work at a founder-level speed and comfort with ambiguity, proactively solving problems without awaiting formal approval.
• Foster a team culture based on collaboration and humility to enhance overall team performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Munich, dedicating at least four days weekly to the office.
• Minimum of three years' experience in growth or strategy roles, proven in delivering scalable zero-to-one growth projects.
• Autonomous leadership of growth roadmaps and successful independent execution.
• Fluent in both German and English languages.
• Hands-on expertise in organic growth including technical SEO and AI search implementation.
• Track record in quick prototyping, validation, and scaling of growth initiatives.
• Experience driving product-led growth campaigns that enhance user acquisition.
• Background in B2B SaaS growth specifically in industrial or enterprise procurement sectors.
• Proven history developing growth loops such as supplier referrals and community engagement, scaling them into lasting pipelines.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the DACH market and AI-centric platform environments.
• Entrepreneurial ambition, potentially aiming to found a future company.
• Experience combining consulting backgrounds (e.g., BCG, KPMG, PwC) with startup scaling roles is highly valued.

Location and Work Arrangement

• Position based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany with onsite presence at least four days per week.
