Role Overview

As a Storytelling Expert at RMDS Lab, you will engage directly with clients through interviews and discovery processes, employing our Holistic Memoir Intelligence Platform (HMIP) combined with AI and expert insights to develop authentic, engaging stories. These narratives will cater to various objectives such as memoirs, personal branding, organizational storytelling, education, leadership development, and heritage preservation. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to produce high-quality deliverables including books, digital content, presentations, videos, and other multimedia formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and sessions to deeply understand clients’ experiences, ambitions, and stories.
• Analyze archival materials such as documents, photos, videos, and correspondence to extract key themes and insights.
• Collaborate with clients to pinpoint significant milestones, lessons, and unique viewpoints.
• Leverage AI-assisted analysis via the HMIP platform to support narrative creation and knowledge extraction.
• Compose impressive, truthful narratives tailored to client needs and audiences.
• Develop storytelling products for diverse uses including memoirs, branding, history, education, communication, marketing, and legacy preservation.
• Partner with editors, designers, video producers, and other specialists to deliver refined products across multiple media formats.
• Incorporate client feedback to continuously polish the narratives while upholding the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive personal and organizational information.
• Offer innovative ideas to enhance storytelling methods, AI workflows, and advance the HMIP platform.

Qualifications

• Strong interviewing, active listening, and communication capabilities.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to organize complex content into clear, captivating stories.
• Experience in areas including memoir or non-fiction writing, journalism, consulting, organizational communications, corporate storytelling, historical research, or multimedia content development.
• Proven ability to manage projects from initial concept through final production.
• Familiarity with publishing, presentations, video production, or digital content creation is highly valued.
• Comfort working collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams and clients from various backgrounds.
• Preferably experienced using AI tools for writing, research, or knowledge discovery.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
