Role Overview
As a Storeperson 2IC, you will support the smooth daily operations of the stores by receiving, storing, and distributing inventory. You'll handle forklifts and other equipment to safely and efficiently move goods. Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory control systems is key, alongside delivering excellent service to internal stakeholders and supporting production needs. You will also assist in leading store operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and dispatch inventory to meet operational demands.
- Maintain precise stock records and manage inventory control systems effectively.
- Operate forklifts and relevant machinery to transport items safely.
- Provide exceptional support and service to internal teams, facilitating production.

Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrated previous experience working in warehouse, stores, or logistics settings.
- Strong skills in inventory management and stock control processes.
- Possess a valid forklift license and practical experience with material handling equipment.
- Knowledgeable about safety protocols and handling of regulated materials.
- Ability to work autonomously, provide team support, and manage multiple competing tasks efficiently.
