Store Keeper Warehouse - Technopark Retail - Dubai

Job Overview

We are seeking an organised and proactive Store Keeper with retail warehouse experience to join our team in Dubai Technopark. You will play a critical role in managing stock flow from warehouse to retail stores, ensuring accurate inventory control and efficient handling of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular stock audits to prevent loss or discrepancies.
• Prepare all necessary documentation related to deliveries and store shipments.
• Inspect incoming goods against orders, identify shortages or damages, and report promptly for corrective measures such as claims to suppliers or insurers.
• Tag and count each item, storing materials securely to avoid damage or loss while ensuring easy identification and retrieval.
• Coordinate picking and packing activities based on pick lists, liaising between warehouse staff and drivers to enable timely deliveries.
• Maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards to reduce risk of injury and damage; actively remind colleagues regarding adherence.
• Evaluate operational procedures from a risk perspective and escalate issues to the HSE committee as needed.
• Manage customer returns by ensuring timely store updates and stock availability within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to team members to boost performance and meet company goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in retail warehouse store keeping within a fast-paced retail environment.

Skills and Knowledge

• Thorough understanding of material storage, distribution, and transportation from training or relevant experience.
• Experience managing stock and inventory in retail warehouses.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
• Proficient in computers, including MS Office and inventory management software.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience in supervising or managing teams, fostering motivation and development.
