About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth functioning of the stewarding department, aiding both kitchen and food & beverage teams to deliver outstanding guest culinary experiences across the hotel.
• Act proactively to enhance guest satisfaction by providing timely and positive responses to their inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Execute departmental plans and objectives to meet stewarding initiatives and overall hotel targets.
• Lead and supervise the stewarding team, cultivating a culture centered on professional growth and strong performance.
• Manage costs and inventory control while maintaining high standards of productivity and operational performance.
• Develop and sustain effective professional relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee the scheduled deep cleaning processes and preventative maintenance to uphold top hygiene standards and handle maintenance concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and adherence to best practices across stewarding tasks, maintaining thorough documentation for audits and conducting subsequent follow-ups as needed.
