Staff Program Manager, Logistics

Overview

Tesla is seeking a Staff Program Manager to join their team focused on innovative vehicle distribution logistics. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent partnership with internal and external stakeholders through timely communication and consistent updates on project progress and deliverables.
• Drive project prioritization with an emphasis on business value and stakeholder agreement, hosting regular meetings and providing concise project updates.
• Lead by example and mentor team members on best practices to execute tasks and produce superior quality outcomes.
• Prepare necessary documentation and reports under stringent deadlines.
• Present project updates and results to executive leadership clearly and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
• Manage complex team interactions effectively across varying skill levels and personalities.
• Ensure clear accountability for project activities and gain consensus to meet timelines and objectives, regularly informing leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields, or comparable experience demonstrating exceptional competence.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• At least two years of experience in logistics is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other database systems is essential.
• Experience using tools like Microsoft Visio, MS Project, or similar project management software.
• Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization platforms; software development experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated flexibility and enthusiasm for role changes.
