Wio Invest’s product organization sits at the center of the company’s mission. The team is accountable for product success end to end, from spotting the highest-value opportunities to delivering them in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Wio Invest is a key part of Wio Personal’s goal to become the best destination for spending, saving, and growing money. The platform already serves more than 100,000 customers across offerings including US and UAE equities and ETFs, crypto, commodities, and other investment products.

In this Staff Product Owner role, you will lead the Trader squad, which focuses on the platform’s most active and engaged customers. These users expect strong depth, fast performance, and dependable experiences. Your work will shape the products they use, increase adoption, strengthen engagement, and help monetize this segment.

What You’ll Do

• Take full ownership of the Trader squad, setting the product vision, deciding priorities, and shaping the roadmap across the portfolio. You will create features and user journeys that active traders genuinely value, including advanced charting and leverage controls, while working closely with Engineering, Design, and Operations to deliver each sprint.
• Use AI as a rapid prototyping tool. Build functional prototypes in hours with AI tools, test them with customers early, and refine them before asking engineering to invest significant effort. Help establish AI as a core part of how the squad explores, designs, and validates ideas.
• Support growth by improving acquisition and retention. Work with Marketing and Growth on tailored onboarding, optimized funnels, and better conversion. Use behavioral data, support interactions, and trading behavior to identify and ship features that improve engagement and retention.
• Own commercial outcomes and the business case. Partner with Strategy and Finance to improve monetization and drive accountability across Product, Marketing, and Operations to achieve key performance targets.
• Be deeply data-driven. Define the right success metrics for the squad, build dashboards, analyze results, and use the findings to make decisions. Develop a strong understanding of customers and their behavior.
• Bring strong commercial judgment. Identify leading competitors and industry benchmarks, build the right partnerships, and negotiate terms that improve unit economics and strengthen the P&L.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years of product management experience, ideally in fintech or brokerage.
• Practical understanding of trading concepts such as order flows, margin mechanics, and market data.
• An AI-first working style, with hands-on experience using tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar solutions to prototype, automate, or analyze, backed by clear examples of productivity gains.
• Strong SQL skills are required, along with confidence using data to guide decisions. Python experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, align stakeholders, and present a clear vision across leadership and squad-level teams.
• Strong analytical and commercial thinking, with the ability to prioritize based on return on investment, impact, and customer value.
• Curiosity and persistence to go deep into topics, reason from first principles, and deliver strong outcomes.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and taking ownership across multiple teams and subject areas.
• A proactive, accountable approach where you build the solution, take responsibility for it, and operate it.
