Staff Nurse

Role overview

Curam Care Homes is looking for a Staff Nurse in Navan Road, Dublin 7, with a strong interest in gerontological and convalescence care. The role focuses on delivering safe, compassionate, and professional nursing support in a care-home environment.

What the role involves

You will assess resident needs, plan and deliver nursing interventions, and review outcomes against the highest professional and ethical standards. The position is centered on person-focused care that supports independence and helps improve residents’ quality of life.

The role also includes working in close partnership with other healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team. Care settings may include services for older adults, people living with dementia or Alzheimer’s, and individuals requiring step-down or convalescence care.

Requirements

Applicants should be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or be eligible for registration. Newly qualified and graduate nurses will also be considered. Previous exposure to gerontological care and/or dementia care is an advantage.

Working pattern

Full-time shifts are 12 hours long. Part-time shifts run from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Relief cover is also available on an as-needed basis.
