Spray Truck Operator

About the Role

Wealleans Foliar Solutions is looking to expand its foliar nutrients application team with a dedicated Spray Truck Operator. This full-time position is based at either the Arapuni or Hinuera depots. The successful candidate will operate modern Landcruiser-based Tow & Fert foliar application units, applying liquid fertilizers and growth stimulants on farms across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty (BOP) regions.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• Operate spray trucks efficiently to deliver foliar applications on agricultural lands.
• Ensure adherence to safe practices and environmental guidelines while working.
• Maintain and care for well-maintained modern equipment provided by the company.
• Work independently with high motivation and take pride in delivering quality work.
• Be adaptable to work extended hours including weekends when needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full Class 1 driver's license with confidence in towing trailers.
• Demonstrate the ability to understand and follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental responsibility in daily tasks.
• Good mechanical aptitude to manage equipment and troubleshoot as necessary.
• Previous experience in agriculture or operating spray trucks is preferred but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
