Role Overview
This role involves managing strategic partnerships to advance Google for Education's initiatives within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The position focuses on strengthening collaboration with key partners, driving adoption of Google's latest products including AI tools such as Gemini, and developing multi-year business plans to enhance partner engagement and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead partner-driven strategies to increase product uptake, particularly Google Workspace and the Gemini AI platform, exceeding set revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain trusted C-suite relationships with partners, establishing extensive joint business strategies and securing Google’s long-term preference.
- Coordinate complex co-selling activities and strategic partnerships, managing critical milestones across MENA.
- Align internal cross-functional teams and external collaborators to collectively pursue shared strategic goals, strengthening the Google for Education ecosystem regionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; a Master’s or advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in roles related to business development, partnerships, management consulting, technology or enterprise software sales.
- Demonstrated expertise managing agreements and relationships at the C-level within education or the public sector.
- Professional background ideally in Consumer Electronics, Automotive, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic to effectively engage with diverse international and local stakeholders.
- Experience with transformative technologies sales such as AI, machine learning, or cloud platforms is desirable.
- Deep understanding of Higher Education or K-12 sectors, including procurement cycles and relevant policy challenges.
- Proven leadership in managing complex, cross-functional projects independently combined with strategic thinking and negotiation capabilities.
- Excellent communication and influence skills to effectively drive partnership and business goals.
