Soft Skills Trainer

About the Role

Action DnA, a well-established training organization with 18 years of experience, is seeking a Soft Skills Trainer for its Ambattur center located in Chennai. Candidates should ideally have a Graduate or Post-Graduate degree and between 2 to 4 years of experience in soft skills training or teaching English. Proficiency in both English and Tamil is required. Those with less experience but strong English communication capabilities may be considered for the Academic Counsellor and Trainer role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute soft skills training programs tailored to align with organizational goals, including preparation of curriculum, assessment tools, and learning materials.
• Deliver interactive and engaging training sessions to enhance participant learning and retention.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify learners' current skills and areas for development.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback and assessments post-training.
• Collaborate with HR managers from corporations, MSMEs, educational institutions such as colleges and schools to design and implement training offerings.
• Develop various learning resources like handouts, workbooks, and presentation slides to support training targets.
• Lead training sessions either face-to-face or virtually using web conferencing platforms.
• Oversee administrative responsibilities and foster team development at the training center.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience specifically in soft skills training or as an English teacher.
• Excellent spoken and written skills in English; knowledge of Tamil is also essential.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and motivational abilities.

Additional Information

The company offers a competitive salary package ranging from INR 25,000 to INR 35,000 per month, equivalent to an annual compensation of 3 to 3.6 lakhs. Fresh graduates demonstrating good communication skills are encouraged to apply for the Academic Counsellor and Trainer position. The role involves full-time employment based in Chennai with onsite responsibilities.
