The agency helps brands tell authentic stories, grow strategically, and produce polished visual content. Its portfolio includes work with brands such as Amazon, Doughbrik’s, TAO Group, Lamborghini, White Fox Boutique, Sit n’ Sleep, and others.
Role overview
Sage Social LA is looking for a Social Media Manager to handle the day-to-day running of client social media accounts and contribute to in-person content shoots. This position is open only to candidates located in Los Angeles, and applicants should already have experience managing social media marketing across more than one industry. A portfolio is required, and prior agency experience is considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Build and implement social media plans that improve engagement and help clients meet performance goals.
- Own client relationships from start to finish, supporting account growth and maintaining strong long-term partnerships.
- Oversee content creation and campaign concepts so that all deliverables support the client’s business objectives, then review results and refine performance based on reporting.
- Prepare monthly content calendars and write copy that feels consistent with each brand.
- Create visually appealing graphics in Canva; experience with InDesign or Adobe Illustrator is an added advantage.
- Assist during on-location content shoots, including filming video content on an iPhone.
- Interact with client communities to increase followers, strengthen engagement, and build an active audience.
- Edit short-form video content such as Reels and TikToks so it matches client goals and current trends.
- Handle daily posting and scheduling across client social channels.
- Support influencer outreach and partnership-based campaigns.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a comparable role.
- Solid understanding of social platforms, current trends, and analytics, along with genuine interest in the space.
- Practical experience using tools such as Facebook Ads Manager.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to create engaging brand stories.
- Excellent communication, planning, and detail-oriented working style.
- A self-driven, growth-minded attitude with a willingness to keep learning in the digital field.
- Must be based in Los Angeles.

- Agency background is preferred.
Bonus skills
- Experience in photography or content creation.
- Email marketing experience.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop.
