About the Role

A prominent entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and investor is seeking a skilled content creator to develop engaging, high-quality video-focused social media content. Collaborating directly with the principal, this role involves capturing and editing short-form videos, generating fresh content ideas, and transforming conversations, meetings, and daily activities into captivating posts for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter). This is an in-person, part-time contract opportunity based in North London with an immediate start. It suits someone passionate about storytelling, internet culture, and interested in startups, technology, AI, and entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities

• Film and edit short-form videos optimized for social media channels.
• Document behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, events, podcasts, and day-to-day operations.
• Generate creative content concepts and convert long-form discussions into concise clips.
• Edit videos featuring dynamic pacing, captions, graphic elements, and platform-specific formatting.
• Manage posting and scheduling of content across multiple social profiles.
• Track content performance and explore ways to enhance reach and engagement.
• Stay updated with social media trends while ensuring a polished, thoughtful brand image.
• Maintain a consistent content publishing routine.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in shooting and editing short-form videos.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and X.
• Experience producing content for founders, personal brands, creators, or executives.
• Ability to craft compelling narratives within 60-second videos.
• Comfortable using both iPhone and professional camera equipment for filming.
• Skilled with editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalents.
• Excellent sense of composition, lighting, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Highly organized, dependable, and efficient while maintaining quality.
• Strong interest in startups, venture capital, entrepreneurship, AI, and emerging technologies is highly advantageous.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with motion graphics or animation.
• Photography skills.
• Previous management of social media accounts for creators or executives.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and social media reporting.
• Expertise in repurposing long-form content into multiple social media assets.
