About the Role
We are seeking a creative and trend-aware Social Media Content Creator to join our team remotely, based in either the Greater Chicago or Greater New York metropolitan area. This role is a 12-month temporary position offering 100% remote work with W2 benefits. The hourly pay ranges from $20 to $26 depending on experience and location. You will play a key role in shaping the voice of iconic brands by crafting bold, engaging, and platform-specific social content across channels like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop eye-catching static graphics and short-form videos adhering to brand guidelines and current trends.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and agency partners to ensure content aligns with brand strategy and campaign objectives.
- Stay informed on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging formats to continuously enhance content quality and relevance.
- Create social media toolkits, templates, and creative briefs to support campaigns.
- Manage community engagement by monitoring and responding appropriately to comments and messages across owned social media channels using tools like Sprinklr.
- Identify and escalate emerging issues, trends, and opportunities to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum two years of experience creating social media content; experience with community management is advantageous.
- Proficient in graphic design and video editing tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and CapCut.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative content and design skills.
- Thorough understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Experience using social media management software, preferably Sprinklr.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a beneficial plus.
Working Conditions and Additional Information
- Position is fully remote but candidates must reside locally in either the Chicago or New York metro areas.
- Reliable internet access is required to perform job duties efficiently.
- Some evening or weekend work may occasionally be necessary due to content schedule or community engagement needs.
- Travel may be required up to 25% of the time for content creation, team collaboration, or events.
