Social Content Creator & Producer

Role Overview

This contract opportunity based in Chicago, IL, requires a skilled Social Content Creator & Producer to generate captivating video and photographic content primarily for social media platforms. The candidate will often appear on camera and be responsible for managing daily social media content production to ensure alignment with brand messaging and current trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging on-camera video and photographic material tailored for social media channels.
• Design graphic elements and perform editing on short video clips.
• Oversee content production processes, including schedules for publishing.
• Craft compelling captions for social media posts.
• Implement social media campaigns and monitor their effectiveness.

Required Expertise and Skills

• Comfort and proven experience appearing on camera for brand content.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent graphic design software.
• Strong knowledge of social media trends and industry best practices.
• Advanced skills in video editing, photography, and graphic design.
• Intermediate skills in social media strategy development.

Additional Details

• Contract type: W2
• Duration: 6 months
• Work schedule: Hybrid with 2 days onsite in Chicago, IL
• Travel: Up to 25% travel may be necessary for content creation, team meetings, or event coverage
• Compensation: Hourly pay between $23 and $28 on W2 basis
