Role Overview

The Site Security Manager / Site Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing site security operations, ensuring policy compliance, tracking performance, and assisting the Site Security Head with audits, risk reviews, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Act in line with Pinkerton’s guiding principles of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Own governance and standardization activities by keeping SOPs, post orders, escalation paths, and training materials current, while ensuring reporting follows a consistent format.
• Carry out compliance reviews on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and take the lead in internal audits while also supporting external audit activities.
• Identify and assess site vulnerabilities, then suggest controls for IT-related physical security risks such as off-hours access, loss of assets, and insider-threat exposure.
• Manage the training plan and tracking system, conduct drills, and coach security supervisors and site security officers.
• Lead or support incident investigations, prepare root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action plans, and maintain incident trends and performance dashboards.
• Work closely with Facilities, HR, EHS, IT, and InfoSec teams, support events and escalations, and coordinate with authorities according to established procedures.
• Take on additional duties as needed to support the role.

Reporting and Deliverables

• Prepare a monthly security performance report covering KPIs, incident trends, compliance scorecards, and CAPA progress.
• Publish risk assessment and vulnerability review reports at the agreed frequency.
• Document training and drill outcomes, comparing planned versus completed activities along with improvement actions.

Working Conditions

This position requires the mental and physical ability to perform all essential duties, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role involves regular computer work, occasional reaching and lifting of small items, use of office equipment, frequent sitting, standing, and walking, and travel when required.
