Site Nurse

About the Role

We are seeking a committed and skilled Site Nurse to support our team by delivering primary healthcare and ensuring safety at our construction site. This position involves providing first aid, managing emergencies, maintaining medical documentation, and promoting overall workplace health in accordance with UAE regulations.

This opportunity is tailored for a proactive healthcare professional comfortable in a fast-paced construction setting and capable of promptly handling workplace medical incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt first aid and emergency medical care to employees and visitors on site
• Evaluate injuries and illnesses to decide if additional medical treatment or hospitalization is necessary
• Track employee health status and keep detailed medical records
• Administer prescribed medications and basic treatments within the professional scope
• Organize emergency response actions, including ambulance services when needed
• Regularly inspect first aid kits to ensure sufficient medical supplies
• Assist in the execution of occupational health and safety initiatives
• Educate employees on health awareness, workplace safety, and preventive care
• Support pre-employment and routine medical check-ups as required
• Keep confidential medical records following company guidelines and UAE laws
• Collaborate with the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team to investigate incidents and suggest preventive actions
• Ensure adherence to DHA, MOH, DOH regulations and internal health and safety policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Possession or eligibility for a valid DHA, MOH, or DOH Nursing License
• At least 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably within construction, industrial, or occupational health sectors
• Mandatory certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is advantageous
• Comprehensive knowledge of workplace health and safety protocols
• Strong skills in emergency care and first aid
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capable of working autonomously and maintaining composure under pressure
• Proficient in documentation and record keeping
• Experience with Microsoft Office software
