About the Role
Join the Maintenance department as a Sign Graphics Designer and Fabricator responsible for the creative and technical production of various signs used across the Baptist Health system, including hospitals and clinics. This position manages the workflow, maintains equipment, and keeps accurate records for the sign shop. The role requires proficiency with creative suite software and operation of large-format printing and fabrication machinery.
Work Details
- Work shift is during the day from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM, with additional hours as required.
- This position authorizes 80 hours of work bi-weekly.
Qualifications and Skills
- Preferred education is a high school diploma, GED, or its equivalent.
- Minimum of four years of experience in sign fabrication or a related field.
- Strong expertise in digital imaging, graphic design, and computer-aided graphics.
- Working knowledge of sign fabrication techniques.
- Skills in sign printing application and processes, including operation of large sign plotters and printers.
- Familiarity with standard office equipment and software.
- Ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize design and fabrication requests.
