Role overview
TalentPop is hiring a remote SEO Assistant to help eCommerce brands grow through smarter search visibility and well-executed digital marketing support. This position suits someone who is detail-focused, comfortable working with data, and able to contribute creatively to SEO execution in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
You will partner with the SEO and Marketing teams to carry out optimization work that improves client performance online. The role is designed for someone who wants to develop professionally while working in a team that emphasizes support, learning, and measurable results.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out SEO audits, keyword research, and content optimization tasks.
- Assist with backlink outreach and track website performance through Google Analytics.
- Maintain product catalogs, site organization, and Shopify CMS pages.
- Use Klaviyo and related tools to review customer engagement and behavior patterns.
- Prepare performance reports and keep up with current SEO practices and industry changes.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of SEO experience in an eCommerce environment.
- Working knowledge of SEO and analytics platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Excel.
- Exposure to Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google Merchant Center is preferred.
- Strong written communication skills; familiarity with design tools like Canva is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive in a fast-moving remote setting.
Technical setup
- A dependable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps upload and 25 Mbps download speed is required.
- Applicants must have access to a personal PC or laptop with an i5 processor or better.
