Senior Waiter

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Waiter to join Mamalla Inn's Zentrum Cafe & Restaurant in Chennai. The ideal candidate will oversee and facilitate exceptional dining experiences by efficiently handling customer orders and ensuring a tidy, welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Present the menu to guests and answer any detailed queries about dishes.
• Set tables properly with appropriate silverware and glassware in preparation for guests.
• Accurately record food orders using order slips.
• Monitor and manage online food orders received through platforms such as Swiggy and Zomato.
• Communicate detailed order information promptly to kitchen personnel.
• Deliver food orders to guests with professionalism.
• Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and proper presentation, reporting any defects.
• Maintain neat and organized dining areas by arranging table settings and cleaning as needed.
• Prepare customer bills and handle payment collections efficiently.
• Transport dirty plates, glasses, and cutlery to the kitchen for washing.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff daily to discuss specials, menu updates, and party reservations.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from 18000 to 20000 INR.
