Senior Product Manager

Job Overview

Morgen Green Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the vision and execution of a key product line based in Lagos, Nigeria. This full-time onsite role requires managing complex software products with a focus on Nigerian market needs, combining technical knowledge, strategic insight, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints.
• Drive comprehensive product discovery including user research, competitor analysis, and market evaluation with a focus on Nigeria.
• Convert strategic goals into actionable delivery plans by creating prioritized backlogs, detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), acceptance criteria, and well-defined tickets using ClickUp.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to organize sprint planning, resolve delivery blockers, and ensure smooth sequencing of tasks for quality releases.
• Oversee project management comprehensively: scope definition, timeline adherence, resource allocation, and risk management across teams.
• Handle complex multi-system products involving cloud, on-premises, and client-installed components and their dependencies.
• Establish and monitor success metrics, leveraging data insights to prioritize initiatives and clearly report results.
• Perform deep market research and competitor analysis to discover untapped opportunities in the Nigerian context.
• Engage various stakeholders including CTO, People/HR, and Communications teams; produce clear and professional communications such as announcements and updates.
• Mentor junior product managers and contribute to refining product development processes, standards, and documentation quality.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in product management, with demonstrated success in delivering complex software products end-to-end.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Proven capability to own product roadmaps and lead agile-based cross-functional teams towards successful deliverables.
• Strong project management expertise with a history of on-time, within-scope execution of complex projects.
• Skilled in product discovery techniques including user research, problem framing, and use of prioritization frameworks.
• Advanced competency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Mixpanel, or Amplitude to inform product decisions.
• Excellent written communication skills; able to create polished PRDs, specifications, and stakeholder communications.
• Technical fluency including understanding APIs, system architecture, and engineering trade-offs.
• In-depth knowledge of Nigerian market specifics, including regulatory environments, payment systems, and business conditions, with the ability to tailor solutions accordingly.
• Experienced with product and design tools such as ClickUp and Figma or their equivalents.
