Role Overview

We are inviting applications for a Senior Planning, Risk and Reporting Manager to join our Project Management Control (PMC) team based in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. This senior leadership role demands oversight of extensive planning, risk mitigation, and reporting processes for major projects. The incumbent will leverage data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions, ensure alignment with organizational standards, and maintain transparent stakeholder communication. The position requires leading a high-achieving team in a fast-moving environment to drive significant impact on critical initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans utilizing industry-recognized tools, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Conduct thorough risk identification, assessment, and mitigation processes to preempt and minimize project risks.
• Produce precise financial reports, performance metrics, and comprehensive project status updates for senior leadership and stakeholders on a scheduled basis.
• Supervise project budgets, monitor expenditures, and execute forecasting analyses for cost control and financial accountability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote effective communication, ensure data integrity, and resolve planning and reporting challenges promptly.
• Implement and uphold project governance structures, compliance requirements, and reporting protocols throughout the project life cycle.
• Analyze project performance data and key performance indicators to detect trends, propose areas for enhancement, and highlight concerns for management attention.
• Lead, guide, and mentor the planning and reporting team, fostering best practices and supporting professional development.
• Maintain exhaustive project documentation and audit records to ensure transparency and meet regulatory standards.
• Work alongside PMC leadership to optimize processes, introduce system enhancements, and boost operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 15 years of escalating experience in project or program management, including at least 5 years dedicated to planning, risk management, or reporting roles.
• Proven expertise in project scheduling, budget oversight, and financial analysis.
• Advanced skills with project management applications such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalents.
• Strong analytical capability and data interpretation proficiency, including expertise in Excel and data visualization tools.
• Experience working with ERP systems and project management databases.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex information for varied audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands efficiently.
• Extensive knowledge of risk management including risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation planning.

Preferred Expertise

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure, construction, or development projects.
• Understanding the Saudi Arabian business and project management landscape.
• Familiarity with project governance frameworks and compliance standards.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• Practical experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
• Background in real estate development or the construction industry.
