Role overview

Bolt is hiring an analytical, solutions-focused Senior Operations Manager to support the growth of its ride-hailing business in Ghana. The position calls for strong leadership, interpersonal ability, and a hands-on mindset.

You will lead the local operations team and work closely with HQ and cross-functional partners to help advance Bolt’s goal of building cities that are more sustainable, accessible, and affordable. The role offers direct visibility into local operations and the opportunity to make a real difference in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Create and run strategies that improve the driver value proposition while increasing supply growth, performance, and retention.
• Guide the local operations team by designing and rolling out efficient operational processes that focus on delivery and results.
• Oversee supply operations and ensure driver and fleet partners have a strong experience across acquisition, conversion, activation, and retention.
• Review supply and marketplace data to track performance, spot opportunities, and protect marketplace health.
• Detect local trends, risks, and areas for improvement that could affect business results, then implement practical solutions.
• Partner with teams such as Product, Legal, and Marketing to build and deliver initiatives that support growth and operational effectiveness.

What we’re looking for

• At least 8 years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, or a similar area.
• Proven ability to lead and work well with others, along with strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ownership mindset and the ability to perform well in a fast-moving, hands-on environment.
• Experience managing and developing complex teams and operational functions.
• Strong analytical thinking, data orientation, and problem-solving capability.
• Comfort with building analytical frameworks and using data to guide strategic decisions and business growth.
