Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS)

Role Overview

Join Snoonu in Doha as a Senior Mobile Engineer focused on iOS, and help shape a fast-growing super app used for everyday convenience. You will contribute to product development within a collaborative engineering team that moves quickly, values feedback, and works in an agile way.

What You Will Work On

• Build new product features together with cross-functional product teams.
• Participate in planning and development of the technical backlog.
• Work in a scrum-style environment and adapt quickly based on team feedback.
• Communicate in English as part of your day-to-day work.
• Contribute directly to the quality and value of the product experience.

Project and Team Context

• The current application began development from the ground up in Q3 2021 using a modern technology stack.
• The codebase is entirely written in Swift.
• The minimum supported iOS version is 14.
• The app is organized as a multi-module project using Tuist.
• The team is actively exploring SwiftUI.
• Development follows a trunk-based approach.
• The team is open to adopting new technologies, including SwiftUI and Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile.

What You Bring

• At least 3 years of experience developing native iOS applications with Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Strong grasp of core Swift and Objective-C concepts, including collections, multithreading, and memory management.
• Hands-on experience building polished, pixel-accurate custom interfaces.
• Clear understanding of Clean Architecture.
• Working knowledge of the HTTP protocol.
• Experience using Git in a development workflow.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming design patterns.
• Intermediate English skills, sufficient to understand the job requirements and discuss your work experience without needing a dictionary.

Nice to Have

• Experience writing unit tests.
• Exposure to trunk-based development.
• Experience with the VIPER architecture pattern.
• Hands-on work with Moya and Alamofire.
• Experience setting up or maintaining CI configuration.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or Compose Multiplatform.
