About the Role

We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Estimator to join a prominent construction firm based in Kildare. This role offers the chance to contribute to a variety of high-value construction projects across Ireland, supported by a flexible hybrid working schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive cost estimates and tender proposals for major construction ventures.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and contracts to generate precise pricing.
Oversee the estimation process from initial inquiry to final tender submission.
Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
Identify commercial risks, opportunities, and suggest value engineering solutions.
Collaborate effectively with construction, commercial, and project management teams.
Cultivate and maintain strong connections with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Participate in the ongoing enhancement of estimating procedures and processes.

Qualifications and Skills

Demonstrated experience as a Senior Estimator in the construction sector.
In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and project delivery systems.
Proven ability in pricing large-scale projects and handling complex tenders.
High level of commercial insight and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Capability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively within project teams.
