Role Overview
The Senior Business Development Executive will be charged with driving student admissions by engaging and counseling parents, increasing demo-to-admission conversions, and progressively overseeing the student enrollment team.
Key Duties
- Address parent inquiries and coordinate trial/demo bookings.
- Convert demonstrations into confirmed enrollments.
- Manage and lead a small team initially, expanding to a larger admissions team within three months.
- Communicate with parents to understand student needs and advise on suitable education programs.
- Maintain and track leads through calls, messaging, emails, and CRM systems.
- Handle objections regarding fees, schedule, instructors, curriculum, and class structure.
- Schedule and supervise demo classes, gather feedback, and follow-up to ensure enrollment.
- Monitor team performance, conduct reviews, and ensure targets are met.
Candidate Expectations
- Conduct between 100-150 quality calls daily.
- Consistently book demos and convert them into admissions.
- Keep thorough follow-up discipline and maintain CRM data integrity.
- Lead and mentor a telecalling team to achieve admission and revenue goals.
Skills and Experience Required
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong persuasion and parent counseling skills.
- Experience in EdTech sales, student admissions, telecalling, or academic counseling preferred.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets, CRM, WhatsApp, and email is essential.
- Leadership skills to manage and support a team.
- Positive, responsible, and goal-driven attitude.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or educational counseling.
- Experience in online tuition, school education, coaching, or EdTech environments is an advantage.
Additional Information
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM, remote work mode.
- Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month plus incentive pay based on performance.
- Growth prospects include progression to Team Leader or Admissions Manager positions.
- Review of performance after initial three months.
- Notice period ranges from 15 to 30 days according to final terms.
- Candidates must maintain professional and courteous communication, ensure confidentiality of all stakeholders, and demonstrate ownership and honesty in CRM updates.
