Overview
A Dublin-based client of ours seeks a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis, working hybrid with three days weekly onsite in Dublin. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Insurance sector, notably in claims or underwriting, as this expertise greatly enhances suitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, define, and validate business requirements from diverse stakeholders to facilitate the development and deployment of critical products, tools, and analytics solutions.
- Take lead and contribute actively to ensure successful project delivery and outcomes.
- Evaluate and comprehend existing business workflows; propose solutions that enhance products and support new initiatives, while maintaining assistance for current offerings.
- Collaborate closely with technology teams, business units, and other departments to align objectives.
- Prioritize delivering high-quality, user-focused products and functionalities.
- Work hand-in-hand with software development teams and peers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and intended features.
- Coordinate and support various testing phases, including unit, integration, user acceptance, and downstream testing.
- Gather and monitor end-user feedback to guide future application and analytics designs, making recommendations to support business stakeholders.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven track record as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role with successful project and product delivery experience.
- Experience in digital product or platform development environments.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities with familiarity of Agile methodologies and principles.
- Experienced in managing stakeholder commitments and expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, including business partners, domain specialists, analysts, UX designers, and IT architects.
- Exceptional communication skills paired with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement is essential.
- Bonus: knowledge of customer journey mapping and customer experience implementations.
- Ability to complete projects within defined scope, budgets, and timelines.
