About the Role
Holley Performance Brands is searching for a Senior Business Analyst dedicated to bolstering the ERP Transformation initiative within the Enterprise Transformation Office. This dynamic role involves deeply understanding current operations, identifying necessary future changes, and translating these into effective IT solutions.
The Senior Business Analyst will engage extensively with business process owners, domain experts, frontline staff, IT personnel, vendors, and project leadership to gather and analyze requirements, map as-is and to-be processes, and confirm that solutions effectively address the essential business challenges. The role demands strong inquisitiveness, distinguishing essential needs from desires, and clarifying intricate procedures for actionable team execution.
Reporting to the Director of the Enterprise Transformation Office, this position resides within Holley's Transformation Management Office (TMO), the nucleus for IT Project Management, Change Management, and Business Analysis excellence. The initial concentration is on ERP transformation, with ongoing support for other enterprise and IT projects. The job requires presence in-office, located at either the Nashville, TN or Bowling Green, KY facility.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend goals, challenges, process inefficiencies, policy limitations, data and reporting requirements, and operational needs spanning departments and sites.
- Organize and lead interviews, workshops, walkthroughs, and collaborative sessions to discover explicit requests and underlying business necessities.
- Gather, detail, verify, prioritize, and handle various types of requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, assumptions, constraints, unresolved questions, and decision records.
- Transform business requirements into clear, well-structured outputs comprehensible by users, IT teams, architects, system integrators, vendors, project managers, and executive leadership.
- Confirm that proposed solutions genuinely address business needs, rather than accommodating only swift system configurations.
- Maintain rigorous traceability of requirements through all project stages including design, development, testing, training, deployment, post-launch support, and adoption.
- Document existing and future process flows, inclusive of roles, handoffs, systems, controls, data pathways, reporting necessities, exceptions, and impacts across upstream and downstream functions.
- Investigate process and data challenges to identify root causes, avoiding automation of flawed or inconsistent processes.
- Assist with data analysis, cleansing, master data preparation, reporting parameters, dashboard creation, validation, and reconciliation activities across ERP initiatives.
- Produce clear diagrams, requirement matrices, fit-gap analyses, status reports, dashboards, and decision-making documents to facilitate efficient, informed decisions.
- Develop business test scenarios from requirements and processes; author or review UAT cases and acceptance standards; ensure alignment of requirements with tests; guide business users in understanding testing scope; assist in defect evaluations; validate solutions against initial requirements.
- Monitor business issues throughout deployment, hypercare, and stabilization, turning experiences into reusable methodologies, enhanced requirement practices, and superior delivery standards.
- Champion the adoption and enhancement of standard business analysis, requirement management, and process documentation practices.
- Contribute to the Enterprise Transformation Office's growth as a center of excellence in Project, Change, and Business Analysis Management by refining templates, playbooks, routines, and offering practical coaching across teams.
- Provide support for enterprise initiatives beyond ERP, including process harmonization, systems integration, reporting enhancement, data governance, operational preparedness, and continuous improvement efforts.
Candidate Profile
- Possess more than 7 years in roles such as Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Process Analyst, Project Analyst, or related positions focused on business process improvements, ERP, or technology-driven changes.
- Experienced in leading requirements strategies for large, multifaceted initiatives.
- Skilled in managing executive-level stakeholder discussions and balancing competing demands.
- Proven track record in complex business redesign and enterprise-wide solution recommendations.
- Experienced in mentoring business analysts and promoting best practices.
- Capable of independently conducting workshops, UAT planning, and requirements governance.
- Adept at serving as the key liaison among business leadership, IT, vendors, and project teams.
Preferred Background
- Familiarity with manufacturing, distribution, aftermarket, consumer products, or other complex operational settings.
- Experience in public companies with awareness of SOX compliance, audits, security, and internal controls.
- Knowledge of process mapping, tools for requirements and test management, reporting instrumentation, master data handling, integrations, or enterprise analytics.
