Role Summary
The Security Enablement Officer will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on security equipment, applications, alarms, and local intelligence. This role includes handling security incidents, providing employee security assistance, aiding security audits, managing ID badges and access, and coordinating emergency and crisis responses in collaboration with client local security teams and service partners.
Core Responsibilities
- Uphold Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in all duties.
- Support local events and resolve security incidents by identifying threats and promptly communicating them to security teams.
- Liaise with the Global Security Command Centre (GSCC) to exchange incident information and assist with employee security concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs and prepare detailed incident reports for events during the shift.
- Act immediately in critical situations, such as fire or violence emergencies.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to provide employee support.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate with strong communication and writing abilities or an experienced professional with at least 2 years in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) of a reputed organization.
- Certifications or training in GSOC/command centre/control room operations, risk management, or crisis management are advantageous.
- Proficient with security technology applications.
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with ability to create graphic presentations and concise reports.
- Fluent in English and local language relevant to the Security Operations Centre location.
- Disciplined, punctual, honest, with the ability to perform well under pressure and respond quickly to urgent situations.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
Working Conditions
- The role requires physical and mental capacity to complete essential functions, including regular computer use.
- Occasional reaching, lifting small objects, and operating office equipment.
- Frequent periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Travel may be required.
