Role Overview

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer I who demonstrates curiosity, strong understanding of frontend essentials, and enthusiasm for crafting dependable user interfaces. This junior-level role suits engineers early in their careers who enjoy problem-solving, writing maintainable code, and collaborating in teams. Key qualities include clear thinking, solid frontend fundamentals, and a desire to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product and technical challenges to create efficient, customer-focused solutions emphasizing performance.
• Develop and maintain user-facing web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and preferably React or comparable frameworks.
• Convert product requirements into clean, functional, and maintainable user experiences.
• Troubleshoot frontend bugs and systematically investigate code behavior.
• Implement fundamental security best practices on all developed features.
• Write unit tests – with mentorship for advanced tests – that cover key scenarios, edge cases, and thorough error handling.
• Produce clear, well-structured, and maintainable code understandable by teammates.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver reliable frontend applications.

Candidate Profile

• 0 to 2 years of frontend development experience including internships, academic projects, or personal work.
• Strong grasp of JavaScript concepts such as closures, scope, event loop, asynchronous patterns, prototypes, and context ('this').
• Experience with React or similar frontend libraries/frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of UI architecture elements like components, state management, props, rendering cycles, and data flow.
• Awareness of web performance optimization and test-driven development principles.
• Ability to explain problem-solving thought processes clearly.
• Familiarity with browser developer tools and fundamental debugging techniques.
