About the Role
Soccer Shots - Orange County is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Scrum Master to join their expanding team. This position is crucial for leading agile delivery, empowering teams to work collaboratively, innovate effectively, and foster continuous improvement. It is ideal for individuals who excel in dynamic settings and are committed to helping teams achieve their highest potential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to streamline processes.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to cross-functional teams on effective Agile and Scrum practices.
- Eliminate obstacles and challenges that hinder smooth sprint execution.
- Monitor and report on team velocity, sprint progress, and critical agile performance indicators.
- Promote a culture centered around ongoing improvement, responsibility, and teamwork.
- Act as the intermediary between product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders.
- Assist the product owner in managing and refining a robust product backlog.
Requirements
- Possession of a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or an equivalent Agile certification is favored.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Scrum frameworks, Agile methodologies, and Kanban processes.
- Outstanding skills in facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
- Capability to collaborate productively with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Proactive, organized professional with a strong commitment to servant leadership principles.
