School Principal at RAHA International School

Position Overview

RAHA International School in Ghana is looking to hire a dedicated School Principal to lead and enhance their K-12 educational environment. As the chief executive and professional head of the school, the Principal will drive the school's strategic vision, oversee daily operations, and maintain high-quality teaching standards. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Principal will manage staff, finances, and community engagement to foster a safe and thriving learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full managerial charge of evaluating and enhancing performance management related to teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with various departments to deliver comprehensive monthly reports to the school board.
• Prioritize the learning, development, and discipline of students in all decision-making processes.
• Lead initiatives to improve teaching quality, operational efficiency, and the school's reputation.
• Review and assess teachers' work weekly and termly; conduct periodic staff evaluations.
• Foster strong relationships among families, students, and staff to promote shared commitment to instructional priorities and expectations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possess at least a Bachelor's degree, specifically a Bachelor of Education; postgraduate qualifications will be advantageous.
• Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the education sector, ideally in a management role.
• Be proficient with IT tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Demonstrate strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal abilities.
• Focus on elevating student academic performance and maintaining a secure, disciplined environment.
