Scheduling Coordinator - Home Care Operations

Overview

Tandem Care is searching for a full-time Scheduling Coordinator to remotely support its Home Care Operations. This role is central to managing the daily scheduling needs of Targeted Care and On Demand services, ensuring every client receives timely care while caregivers are effectively coordinated. It requires agility in handling dynamic and unexpected changes without losing attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently organize and modify caregiver schedules throughout the day to reflect changes
• Handle same-day adjustments and new care requests swiftly
• Answer and manage communications from caregivers and clients via phone, text, and messaging platforms
• Address caregiver call-outs and promptly arrange for adequate replacement coverage
• Track caregiver arrivals and check-ins during visits
• Provide operational support specifically to Targeted Care and On Demand services during afternoon and evening periods
• Act as a backup to the Scheduling Manager during their absence
• Maintain accurate payroll timesheets based on confirmed visit data
• Keep precise and up-to-date records in the customer relationship management system
• Work collaboratively with Care Coordinators and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of care

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in home care scheduling, healthcare operations, staffing, dispatch, or another complex operations setting
• Proven ability to coordinate schedules and effectively respond to time-sensitive challenges
• Exceptional customer service and phone communication skills
• Comfortable navigating multiple software platforms at the same time
• Previous experience working remotely is advantageous
• Familiarity with CRM and scheduling software is preferred
