Role Overview
The role entails supporting the sales operations through administrative and coordination tasks to ensure smooth processing of customer orders from quotation to delivery and payment collection.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate quotations, proforma invoices, and sales orders accurately and timely.
- Process customer orders while collaborating closely with production and dispatch teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain continuous communication with customers for updates on order status, delivery timelines, and payment follow-ups.
- Keep customer databases, sales performance reports, and management information systems up to date.
- Coordinate with the finance/accounts team to ensure timely invoicing and monitor payment receipts.
- Manage email communications and promptly respond to customer inquiries.
- Update and maintain customer information and sales records within CRM or ERP applications meticulously.
- Provide support to the sales team by preparing documentation, presentations, and handling related administrative work.
- Compile and prepare monthly sales reports and other necessary management documentation.
- Ensure customer orders are executed on time and deliver after-sales assistance when required.
