About the Role
Mnzil, a dynamic prop-tech firm revolutionizing workforce housing and real estate services in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator. This full-time, on-site position centers around supporting the QHSE department by managing daily safety operations, documentation, inspection, reporting, and on-ground safety training to ensure robust safety measures across multiple housing sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspection rounds at various housing locations to verify adherence to established safety protocols.
- Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and detailed reports following field visits, ensuring timely follow-up and corrective actions.
- Maintain and organize technical documentation and records including the Master Register in both Arabic and English languages.
- Conduct safety training sessions, covering topics such as general safety practices, first aid, personal protective equipment (PPE), and fire safety for workers and supervisors.
- Assist in implementing fire safety initiatives aligning with NFPA 10/72 standards and monitor water quality and utilities.
- Liaise with clients and service providers to address safety observations and technical concerns effectively.
- Support the ongoing development and revision of policies and processes compliant with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 standards.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline is essential.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) certification is mandatory; possession of IOSH certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 safety and quality systems.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in safety roles, ideally within workforce housing, residential facilities, or facilities management.
- Proven ability to deliver field-based safety training effectively.
- Experience in creating technical documentation and managing NCRs accurately.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, verbal and written.
- Strong organizational aptitude for managing and archiving documents systematically.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word for preparing detailed reports.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with workers, supervisors, and clients.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site and travel between different project locations.
