ജോലി വിവരണം

About the role

Realtime Robotics is building a cloud-based platform that helps teams simulate, validate, and improve complete robotic systems at scale. By simplifying advanced robotics deployment, the company is helping make large-scale manufacturing automation more accessible and efficient.

The platform supports the design and optimization of multi-robot workcells in the cloud and removes the need for manual robot programming. Its Resolver technology creates collision-free robot programs by optimizing workcell layouts, task assignment, and robot paths, with the goal of improving throughput and lowering the cost of industrial automation before anything is deployed.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with robotics engineers to tackle practical automation problems using planning, optimization, and AI-based approaches.
  • Build and improve efficient algorithms and solvers designed for robotics use cases.
  • Assist field engineers in resolving customer issues using Realtime Robotics’ platform.
  • Contribute to feature decisions and help move development forward in a fast-paced product environment.

What the role requires

The team is looking for a robotics engineer who can strengthen the performance, reliability, and capability of the backend algorithms powering the platform. This position reports to the Senior Director of Robotics and involves extending core technology using advanced planning, AI methods, and research-driven development.

  • Hands-on knowledge of robotic manipulator algorithms, with experience in several of the following areas: forward and inverse kinematics, sampling-based motion planning, trajectory optimization, multi-robot planning, task scheduling, ML for manipulation, and dynamic model identification.
  • At least 2 years of C++ experience.
  • Strong software engineering practices, including version control and unit testing in a Linux environment.
  • Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work from the Berlin office with a flexible schedule, including 50% in-office presence.
  • Comfort working in international, collaborative teams.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to solve difficult technical problems independently.
  • Interest in working in a fast-moving startup setting.

Benefits

  • Unlimited paid time off.
  • Reimbursement for commuting expenses.
  • Telecommunications stipend.

Additional information

The role is based in Berlin, Germany, and requires onsite work with a flexible arrangement that includes half of the working time in the office.
