About the Role

Primary Responsibilities
- Begin and end your working day from your home driveway, with paid time covering van departure through return.
- Operate independently across diverse locations and conditions while staying connected to a supportive team environment.
- Apply your technical expertise combined with clear communication to create a positive experience for customers.
- Diagnose and resolve road-side vehicle issues promptly and calmly, handling a broad variety of mechanical problems on the spot.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possess NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a comparable qualification allied with relevant practical experience.
- Hold a full category B driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
- Demonstrate confidence in using and adapting to new technology; The AA equips you with necessary tools.
- Be willing and able to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays to cover unscheduled breakdown incidents.
Working Hours and Salary
Typical working weeks average 40 hours, with multiple shift patterns available allowing selection of schedules that align with personal and professional preferences. Annual rest days and shift duration depend on chosen shift arrangements. The base salary is £38,270 annually, with the opportunity to earn up to £60,000 per year for top performers through total On-Target Earnings.
