Role Summary
We are seeking an RF Applications Engineer to join our Limerick, Ireland team, focusing on the development of innovative RF integrated circuits. The role involves working with a diverse product portfolio, including RF Phase Locked Loops (PLL), Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCO), integrated PLL/VCOs, JESD204 and Network Clock ICs, frequency multipliers, Direct Digital Synthesizers (DDS), and frequency dividers applied across various markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop expertise on RF products and collaborate with customers and field application engineers to address complex design challenges.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from customers and field applications engineers.
- Support customer integration efforts and troubleshoot difficult design issues.
- Create datasheets, user manuals, evaluation boards, and application notes for supported products.
- Prepare technical training resources for field applications engineers.
- Gain deep understanding of customer use cases to inform new product development.
- Conduct laboratory measurements and develop Python scripts for automated data acquisition.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- Practical experience with silicon evaluation and characterization.
- Competence in using measurement instruments such as Spectrum Analyzers, Phase Noise Analyzers, and Vector Network Analyzers.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C, C++, or C#.
- Experience with programmable logic devices (FPGA) and SoC development is advantageous.
- Strong skills in technical writing and delivering presentations.
- Effective communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Additional Information
This position requires approximately 10% travel and work on the first shift/daytime hours.
