Role Overview

The position of Revenue Manager, based on-site in North Goa, entails managing pricing policies, room allocation, and sales channels to boost revenue and profitability for the hotel properties. Responsibilities include analyzing market demand, reviewing competitor pricing, forecasting revenues, and adjusting rates and room availability proactively. Collaboration with sales, marketing, and front desk teams is key to synchronize revenue tactics with occupancy targets and customer segments. Additionally, the role involves examining performance data to spot improvement areas and executing strategies to increase overall revenue outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong analytical abilities to assess data and identify market trends for informed decision-making.
• Experience with revenue management, including pricing optimization, inventory control, and accurate revenue reporting.
• Fundamental knowledge in finance and accounting to interpret hotel financials, budgeting, and managing costs.
• Familiarity with hotel-specific systems like revenue management software, channel managers, and property/central reservation systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively liaise with various internal departments.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and competence in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related discipline is preferred alongside relevant experience in hotel revenue or hospitality management roles.
