About the Role and Company
Located at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in Doha, Qatar, this role is part of Minor Hotels—a global hotel owner, operator, and investor managing over 530 properties across more than 50 countries through various brands including Anantara, Avani, Elewana, Oaks, NH Hotels, and others. The Revenue Executive assists the hotel's revenue management team by optimizing room inventory, pricing, and distribution channels to elevate occupancy rates and maximize Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR).
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of room pricing strategies on daily, weekly, and monthly bases.
- Monitor and adjust room rates across online travel agents (OTA), direct bookings, and corporate channels.
- Contribute to dynamic pricing initiatives, factoring in demand, seasonal variations, and market trends.
- Assist in maximizing RevPAR, average daily rate (ADR), and occupancy percentages.
- Oversee room availability management across distribution channels including OTAs, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and direct booking platforms.
- Ensure consistent rate parity across all online sales platforms.
- Update room restrictions such as open or close rates, minimum stay requirements, and stop-sell measures as needed.
- Conduct market analysis by tracking competitor rates and demand trends.
- Prepare pick-up reports and revenue forecasts on daily and weekly intervals.
- Analyze booking patterns including cancellations and no-shows.
- Collaborate closely with Reservations and Front Office teams to receive real-time operational updates.
- Coordinate with Sales for managing corporate and group bookings.
- Support the Revenue Manager in implementing revenue strategies.
- Maintain and update Property Management Systems (PMS) and Revenue Management Systems (RMS) like Opera, IDS, or IDeaS.
- Generate revenue and operational performance reports, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related discipline.
- Between one and three years of experience in hotel reservations, front office, or revenue-focused roles.
- Strong analytical capabilities and quantitative aptitude.
- Familiarity with hotel distribution channels and pricing methodologies.
- Proficiency in PMS software, especially Opera, and advanced Excel skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
